Fáilte Ireland to focus on bringing conferences to Kerry

Fáilte Ireland says business tourism could offset any potential damage to the industry caused by Brexit.

The organisation is in London today pitching Ireland as a conference destination.

This year Fáilte Ireland is aiming to win conferences worth 31 million euro for locations outside Dublin, with a particular focus on venues in Kerry, the Shannon region, Cork, and Galway.

Fáilte Ireland’s Head of Commercial Development, Paul Mockler says business tourism is fundamental for the growth of the sector as a whole.
