Activities are being held throughout the county this week for the first ever, ‘Get Kerry Walking’ event.
People of all ages are being encouraged to get out in the fresh air and enjoy a walk at their own pace.
Organised by the Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnership, the idea is to get more people more active, at all ages, levels and abilities.
Already this week, large crowds have gathered to attend organised walks in Listowel, Tralee, Ballybunion and Cahersiveen.
Gert Spillane is with the Tuesday Trotters in Castlegregory, who braved the strong winds to head off on a bracing forty-minute walk in west Kerry.
