Munster will play in the Pro 14’s first ever Monday night game on October 26th.

The innovation was revealed with the release of the new season’s fixtures.

Leinster begin their defence of the title on Friday October 2nd when Dragons visit the RDS.

On the same night, Ulster will entertain Benetton.

The following day will see Munster go to Scarlets, and Connacht play host to Glasgow Warriors.

The Pro 14 have confirmed talks are underway to expand their footprint in South Africa.

A South African team will replace the now defunct Southern Kings in 2021, joining The Cheetahs in the league.

But the number of South African teams in the Pro 14 could be swelled by their Super Rugby contingent.
