European Angling Championship draws to a close

Today is the final day of the European Angling Championships in Caherciveen. The competition which is held in a different country each year and has over 200 anglers competing has brought in the region of 10 million euro to South Kerry. As the final stages of the competition draws to a close Irish Anglers have recorded one of their best ever performances. George McCullough Chairman of the European Federation of Sea Anglers says Caherciveen has been an excellent host.
