ESB working to restore power to thousands of homes around Kerry

Hundreds of ESB personnel are continuing to deal with power outages across the county this afternoon following the stormy weather of recent days. ESB Logo Supply was restored to over 10,000 customers in Kerry yesterday but homes in isolated areas could be without power over the weekend. Poor weather conditions today are hampering repairs but crews are working in all areas to restore the supply. Many fallen trees in inaccessible areas are proving to be problematic and are delaying repairs. The ESB call centre is extremely busy and customers are asked to refrain from calling to report loss of supply and only report emergencies such as fallen wires and broken poles.
