English and Scottish Premier League soccer review

English Premier League: Leicester City are back at the top of the Premier League. A 3-0 win took them above Manchester City, who were beaten 2-0 at Stoke. Arsenal went second with a 3-1 victory over Sunderland, while Manchester United finished 0-0 with West Ham at Old Trafford. Louis Van Gaal’s side were booed off at full-time but the Dutchman says there was no lack of opportunities for them. Bottom side Aston Villa drew 1-1 at Southampton, while Watford beat Norwich 2-0, and Tottenham finished 1-1 at West Brom. Scottish Premier League : Celtic’s game with Hamilton was one of three Scottish Premiership fixtures that fell to the weather. Hearts against Inverness was also postponed, as was Partick versus Motherwell. Of those that did go ahead, Aberdeen went to within 4 points of the summit by winning 2-0 at Dundee. Bottom side Dundee United drew 1-1 at Kilmarnock, while Ross County lost 3-2 to St Johnstone.
