Enforcement order is served on golf course developer

The County Council has confirmed that an enforcement order has been served on Haulie O` Shea the developer of a new golf course in Waterville. The order came after a site inspection. The enforcement order relates to the removal of bolders which the Council says is outside planning. A spokesperson for Kerry County Council says Haulie O`Shea will now be given time to comply with the order and there will be follow up inspectionsThe move by the Council follows a visit to the site of the golf course last week by Green Party TD Dan Boyle. He was highlighting allegations of environmental and structural damage at the site. Developer Haulie O` Shea however refutes all the allegations.
