Efforts are continuing to secure land for a playground in Beaufort.
Kerry County Council says it has offered assistance to a local community group in Beaufort to develop a playground within the village.
To date, efforts have been hampered by the absence of a suitable site.
The council does not have any lands in the area which would meet the required specifications for a playground, and the local group are continuing with their efforts to identify and secure a site.
The information was revealed to response to a motion from Fianna Fáil councillor Michael Cahill.
