The Minister for Education and Skills, Joe McHugh is in Kerry today for a number of engagements.
His first three engagements are in Tralee at Kerry Education and Training Board centres; he’ll officially open the Denny Street campus of the Kerry College of Further Education at 9am.
The Minister will then turn the sod at the site of the new Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí secondary school in Moyderwell at 10.15am, before opening the extension at Coláiste Gleann Lí in Clash at 12 noon.
Minister McHugh will then address the annual conference of the Joint Managerial Body for Voluntary Secondary Schools in the Europe Hotel, Killarney this afternoon.
The organisation represents the interests of all voluntary secondary schools in the country.
