Economic forum discussing opportunities for Castleisland taking place today

An economic forum discussing opportunities for the Castleisland area will take place today.

Miriam O’Callaghan is MC for the event which will feature a range of successful guests who have connections to the town.

The forum was organised by Castleisland Chamber Alliance and will take place in the River Island Hotel from 2.30 to 5.30pm.

The aim is to shine a light on opportunities for the area’s future.

All of the invited guests have played significant roles in their sectors, and all bar one are from the town.

The guests will take part in presentations, a panel discussion and question and answer session which will be moderated by Miriam O’Callaghan.

Speaking at the event are David Walsh, Group CEO of Netwatch; Liz Shanahan, member of the Global Irish Economic Forum and current London Kerry Person of the Year and Stephen Reidy, CIO of Three Ireland.

Suzanne McElligott, CEO of IAB Ireland and Board Member of Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland; Con Lynch, CEO of Compound Feed Engineering, Orla Burke, Partner and EMEA Healthcare Lead at Fleishman Hillard and John Brosnan, co-Founder and CEO of Netfort will also address the forum.

Three young local entrepreneurs Shane McAuliffe, Shane O’Leary and Ciara Murphy will also speak about their businesses at a talk aimed primarily at students.
