Kerry social enterprises will benefit from €56,100 in funding under the Community Services Programme support fund.
Minister for Tourism and Sport, Brendan Griffin welcomed the funding, saying the programme supports community organisations to provide social, economic and environmental services.
The funding will be used to meet local service gaps and provide access to services and facilities that would otherwise not be available.
The funding will be shared among 11 Kerry groups.
Tralee Community Care Action is to receive €11,000, while Kerry Respite Care has been allocated €8,800 and the Kerry Flyer will benefit from €8,250.
€7,700 has been allocated for Listowel Community Centre, Ballyheigue Social Economy Enterprises will get €5,500 and IRD Foilmore Kells will receive €3,300.
Knocknagoshel Sports and Recreational Association has been allocated €2,750.
Ballyspillane Community and Family Resource Centre, Foodshare Kerry, Over the Water Sports Centre and Valentia Community Health and Welfare Association have all been allocated €2,200 each.
Minister Griffin says this funding announced will help alleviate the financial challenges faced by smaller CSP support organisations and maintain their viability.
