At least €440,000 in speeding fines has been issued on a Kerry road since 2012.
That’s according to figures released to The Irish Times under the Freedom of Information Act, which lists the top ten locations for speed camera fines in the country.
The data shows that from 2012 to last September at least €442,160 in speeding fines were imposed on motorists on the R563 at Faha East.
However, despite Faha East not making the top ten in 2014 the total figure would be much higher over the period.
In total, over half a million euro in speeding fines have been issued in Kerry by speed cameras.
Nationally, almost 28 million euro in fines have been issued.
As of May 2016, there were 1,031 speed enforcement zones across Ireland.
