South Kerry and Dingle are into the ¼ Finals of the Garvey’s SuperValu County Senior Football Championship.
Round 3 has seen South Kerry beat Rathmore 1-15 to 0-11 while Dingle defeated St.Kieran’s 1-14 to 1-11.

South Kerry led by 2 points early on, but a goal put daylight between the teams. That opened up a 1-8 to 0-6 half-time advantage.
The gap stood at 5 by the 3/4 mark but the outcome was never in doubt.

Dingle 1-14 St.Kieran’s 1-11
There were two points between the teams after just 10 minutes and Dingle increased that gap to 4 by the break; 0-10 to 0-6. It was double scores early in the second period at 12 points to 6. Kieran’s had the next 3 points and the gap was down to 3 heading into the final 15 minutes. The advantage stood at 13 points to 10 entering the final 10 minutes before a Barry O’Sullivan goal in the 54th minute put the issue beyond doubt.

The ¼ Final line-up will be finalised today.
There’s a double header at Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney.
Mid Kerry against St. Brendan’s is at 2 o’clock, followed by Dr.Crokes versus An Ghaeltacht at 3.45.
The draw for the last 8 will be made on Radio Kerry after the conclusion of the second match.
