Dr Ruane to speed up G.P complaints process.

The newly elected member of the incoming National Medical Council Dr. Bernard Ruane aims to speed up the complaints process for general practioneers. Dr. Ruane is a G.P. in Tralee and is among 10 members elected to the new council when votes were counted at the weekend. Dr Ruane says the waiting process for doctors who have complaints made against them are is too long. He says during his tenure as a member of the council he aims to increase the role of G.Ps in health care.
