Connect trade union members and the Liebherr crane factory will go to the Workplace Relations Commission on April 2nd.
The Connect members staged a day-long strike at Liebherr last week, and the union has now temporarily suspended industrial action at the company.
It comes following the company’s move to restore elements of its original sick pay scheme.
The withdrawal of the sick-pay scheme and the company’s decision to unilaterally change the terms and conditions of employment were the reasons the union began strike action.
It is not yet known if SIPTU who are due to begin industrial action next Monday, have made a similar decision.
Radio Kerry has contacted SIPTU for comment.
