Dingle Oceanworld to undergo €1.2 million redevelopment

Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium will be undergoing a 1.2 million redevelopment this winter. Fáilte Ireland will be funding 36 percent of the total cost. The aquarium will be closed to the public from November 1st when work will begin. A British company, Nautilus, who specialise in aquariums, is undertaking the work. There will be a few new additions, including a jungle display including poisonous frogs and piranhas, and a tank with hundreds of shoaling fish. Oceanworld is expected to reopen on St. Patrick`s Day 2005.
