Dingle Oceanworld releases turtles off South of Ireland

Two turtles that were nursed back to health in Dingle will be released into the sea today. The pair of endangered Loggerhead Turtles are currently on board the L.E Emer and will be released 200 miles South of Ireland. Dylan the Female Turtle was found on a Kerry beach two years ago weighing just 2-point-5 kilograms. The second turtle Blink was found washed up on a West Cork beach some months later. Both turtles were nursed back to health at Dingle Oceanworld and represent the tenth release of turtles from the facility.
