Development hub between Tralee and Killarney to be promoted.

Tralee Chamber of Commerce has set up a sub-committee to examine ways of promoting the development hub between Tralee and Killarney. The on-going work of the Chamber will, however, still remain in focus. The development hub between Tralee and Killarney will be one of the priorities of Tralee chamber over the next year, and going forward. That’s according to recently-elected president Daithi O`Connor. With this aim in mind, the chamber has established a working group, charged specifically with developing projects to link the two towns. Other on-going priorities for Tralee Chamber are decentralisation. The Chamber President says members will be doing all they can to make it a reality for the county. Within Tralee itself, the Chamber will be working to maintain its relationship with the Town Council. The Chamber is particularly keen to maintain its input in the ongoing redevelopment of the town centre. Issues of parking and access are among the chamber’s priorities here. All in all, the next year will see Tralee Chamber of Commerce redefining, rather than altering its main focus.
