Deputy Jackie Healy Rae has slammed new planning guidelines issued by the Minister for the Environment yesterday as pure propaganda. Deputy Healy Rae says given that they will not affect the current County Development Plan, they will make no difference to the process and it will be just as difficult to get planning. He says if the Minister for the Environment wants to do something constructive he should devise a new planning bill and make it into law.
