A decision should be made next month on a planning application for a new STEM building at the Institute of Technology Tralee.
They’ve applied to Kerry County Council for permission to build a part two/three storey Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics building at their north campus in Dromtacker, Tralee.
The 9,000sq metre building is to include machinery workshops and halls, and an engineering and agri-tech yard to the rear.
The council sought further information on the application, and that’s now been submitted by the IT.
They should make a decision in the next month.
