Day 2 at Killarney Races – Preview

Today is Day Two at the August Festival at Killarney Racecourse

The first of eight races is due off at 4.25pm.

There is prize-money of €50,000 for the feature K.W.D. Kingdom Gold Cup Handicap (5.30) where champion jumps trainer Willie Mullins looks to hold the key with four of the 14 runners.

Mullins has booked champion Flat jockey Colin Keane for the ride on Law Girl, a fast-finishing winner on her most recent start at Gowran Park.
Zeunoon got off the mark at Galway on his second start and Dermot Weld’s charge is sure to be popular with punters in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Race (4.25).

There are three chases to conclude the card.

The going at Killarney is good, good to yielding in places on the Flat course and good on the chase course.

We will bring you full live coverage of todays card from Killarney with thanks to Kellihers Mills, Clash, Tralee.
