Damaged level crossing near Killarney due to be repaired around now

A level crossing barrier, that was damaged by a motorist near Killarney, should be repaired shortly.
Train services to and from Kerry this afternoon have been experiencing delays after the driver damaged the railway level crossing barrier at Minish.
Irish Rail says staff should have the barrier fixed very shortly.
At around half past one, a motorist drove through and struck the descending barrier at the level crossing.
A man, who says he was involved in the collision, has presented himself at a garda station in the county.
Irish Rail says the 3.05pm train from Tralee is experiencing delays of 45 minutes but all other services are unaffected.
