The annual Cystic Fibrosis Ireland conference is taking place in Killarney today.

Some of Europe’s leading experts on the disease will come together at the Brehon Hotel.

The event will examine new therapies being developed and the latest transplant developments.

Ireland has the highest incidence of cystic fibrosis in the world; the number of adults with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland is set to increase by 75 percent by 2025.
