Criticism of witnesses to unlawfull killing by Gardai

A Garda Inspector has criticised some of the witnesses to the unlawful killing of 38 year old Gerard O Leary. Barry O Rourke says a small number of people were not as forthcoming as they could have been in relation to the incident. Mr O Leary died in Cork University hospital last night from injuries sustained in a row outside a pub on the night of the all Ireland Football Final. Inspector O Rourke says they will be dealing with those who failed to give full statements.
