Credit unions in Kerry not at risk of collapse

Credit unions in Kerry are not at risk of collapse.

That’s according to John O’Regan, Secretary of Chaper 13 Credit unions.

A new report warns that large numbers of credit unions will close unless they urgently change how they do business.

It also says half the State’s credit unions are already on course to make losses by the end of the year.
