County League Back Ties This Weekend

There will be back games played in 3 divisions of The Credit Union County Senior Football League on Saturday. Rathmore, who will be without Aidan O’Mahony and Tom O’Sullivan, will go second in Division 2 if they defeat relegation threatened Skellig Rangers. A win for Skellig and they will be all but safe from the drop. In Division 3 basement side Duagh host Kenmare, for whom victory will see them rise to second. John Mitchels, too close to the relegation zone for comfort, are at home to Legion, currently level on points with Kenmare. St.Senans’ relegation from Division 4 will be all but sealed if they fail to win at Glenbeigh/Glencar. Brosna, also in danger of going down, host Moyvane, who will be dragged into the relegation scrap if they lose.Saturday also sees Round 13 of Division 5 being played. Joint leaders Ballyduff and Ballydonohue play Austin Stacks and Derrynane respectively.Third placed Ballylongford are not in action, so Scartaglin will leapfrog them with a win at Strand Road. Throw-in for all of those games is 7.30.
