County Football Final Date Dependent On Who Legion Face

The date for the Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Football Championship Final depends on who is in the decider. If Kenmare District progress to meet Legion then it’s to take place on November 1st but if South Kerry qualify it’ll go ahead on November 8th. The semi final between South Kerry and Kenmare District is fixed for this coming Sunday in Fitzgerald Stadium at 2:30, as a stand-alone fixture. St Marys, part of the South Kerry Divisional team, are to play the Tipperary champions in the Munster Intermediate Club Championship on November 1st. The draw for the County Championship relegation play-off will take place at the County Committee Meeting on Monday November 2nd, with games to be played the following weekend. If the County Final is fixed for November 8th these games will go ahead on the 7th. Otherwise they will be fixed for the 8th. Games to be played at neutral venues. The Junior Club Football Championship Final between Templenoe & Glenbeigh/Glencar will be played over the weekend of Nov 8th or 15th. The Novice Final, featuring Lispole and St.Senans, is to take place over the weekend of Nov 7th and 8th. A date is yet to be confirmed for the Beale against Sneem-Derrynane Novice Shield semi-final. Dates and venues are also to be confirmed for the Under 21 Club Football Cup semi-finals; Legion v Lispole/Castle/Annascaul & Dr Crokes against Spa. The Keane’s Supervalu Killorglin County Minor Football Championship semi-finals will be played at different venues in Tralee on Saturday next. At Mitchels Mid Kerry will play Dr Crokes at 2, while Strand Road is the venue at 4 for Shannon Rangers against Dingle. The final will be played over the weekend of November 1st. In County Football League Round 10 back games, Division 2 on Saturday October 31st at 3 will see Rathmore host Spa. In Division 4 this Sunday at 2.30 it’s Scartaglin versus Crokes B. Two Round 11 Division 1 matches are to take place at 2 on Sunday November 1st if the County Final is not on the same date; Desmonds v Stacks & Legion against Milltown/Castlemaine. In Division 3 on Saturday October 31st at 3 Annascaul entertain An Ghaeltacht while Listry welcome Beaufort. All remaining Round 11 games in Division 3 are to go ahead over the weekend of November 7th and 8th. All games in Division 4 & 5 go ahead at 2 on Sunday November 15th. The Intermediate Relegation Play-Offs see Glenflesk face Emmets at 2 this Sunday in Strand Road. At 3 on Saturday October 31st Brosna play Keel in Farranfore. Annascaul v Gneeveguilla in Listry is moved to the weekend of November 7th and 8th, with a date to be confirmed for Skellig Rangers against Finuge. Venues are confirmed for Saturday’s County Under 21 Hurling Championship semi-finals, which throw-in at 3. Casueway is to host O’Dorney/Ballyheigue v St Brendans while South Kerry against Causeway will be played in Abbeydorney. Kerry captain Kieran Donaghy continues to deliberate on his Inter County future. Donaghy stated last week that he was not sure he’d line out in the green and gold in 2016. At 6.30 they’re home to UCC in Ladies Football Division 2 League . At 8 in Camogie Division 2 League Tralee host UCC. St.Brendan’s Killarney are in action today in the Corn Uí Mhuirí. Abbey CBS are the opposition in Mallow at 1.30. One hour earlier in Under 15 C football, and also in Mallow, St.Pats Castleisland go up against Ard Scoil Na Mara Tramore.
