A Kerry County Councillor has raised serious concerns about an increase in the numbers of patients on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry.

On Thursday, twenty people were waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry; that figure fell to 12 today.

Sinn Féin Cllr Deirdre Ferris says there is a systematic failure by the State across the country in their duty of care to patients and staff.
