A promenade should be developed at Inch Beach.
That’s according to Fianna Fáil Cllr Michael Cahill who called for its development at the monthly meeting of Kerry County Council.
Cllr Cahill said the promenade project should include the provision of a playground, public toilets and showering facilities.
The proposal, he said, should also include road improvement works to the sharp bend at the busy main road junction.
Kerry County Council said it’s working actively with An Taisce to ensure continued access and beach use by vehicles does not impact Blue Flag retention.
