Council seeking people’s views on planned flood relief works in Glenflesk

Kerry County Council is seeking people’s views on planned flood relief works in Glenflesk.

The proposed works will consist of a 130-metre reinforced concrete retaining wall, tying into a flood defence embankment of 125 metres in length at Garries, Foiladuane, Glenflesk.

The plans have gone out for public consultation and can be viewed at the county council’s offices in Tralee or Killarney and on their website.

Submissions or observations can be made on the proposals up until the 26th of September.
