Council providing water tankers in areas affected by power outages

A number of water supplies, particularly in north Kerry have been affected by the power outages today. water from tap in a glass These include: Lyreacrompane Glenderry Causeway To help people who have been affected by the water outages in the county, Irish Water and Kerry County Council are providing water tankers in a number of locations around the county to allow the public to access water. Customers are asked to bring their own container to take away the water; and this water MUST BE BOILED before consuming. The tankers will be present in the following locations today until 3pm In  Ballyheigue at the Community Centre In Ardfert at the pharmacy car park In Glenderry at the National School In Lyrecrompane at the Four Elms And in Causeway at the church In addition, the precautionary Boil Water Notices are still in place for the following water supplies and will remain over the weekend on the advice of the HSE.
