Council to look at need for traffic lights in Abbeydorney

Kerry County Council is to look at the need for traffic lights in Abbeydorney.

Fianna Fáil Cllr John Lucid says heavy traffic passing through the village in the mornings and evenings is making it difficult for some locals to get about.

At the recent Listowel Municipal District meeting, he asked the local authority to undertake a study to see if traffic lights are needed at the crossroads.

The council says it’ll refer it to its roads design section for surveys to be carried out, which Cllr Lucid says is welcome news:
