Kerry County Council says it’s currently in the process of designing facilities to house creamation urns in two cemeteries.
Columbarium walls are to be develeoped in the new Killarney burial ground and Rath Cemetery, Tralee.
the council says they’re currently at design stage and when this is complete, the proposals will be brought to councillors for planning approval.
They’ll then give further updates on when the Columbarium walls will be developed.
The local authority was responding to a query from Niall Kelleher who was querying when the walls will be installed.
