Council agrees pay increases with Unions

Public Sector Unions and management at Kerry County Council have concluded an agreement which will provide for pay increases over three phases during 2016 and 2017. It is now subject to a ballot by the Unions before it can be ratified and implemented. The agreement could impact the budgetary position of the council over the two years. There are also legacy commitments from the Haddington Road agreement which could also affect budgetary provision in 2017 and 2018.
