Continuity IRA denies involvment in Ballylongford graffiti attack

The Detective Gardai Branch at Listowel Garda Station are assessing the email allegedly sent by the Continuity IRA denying any involvement in the recent graffiti attack in Ballylongford. The statement says none of its members were involved in the incident which included the property of Fine Gael Councillor Liam Purtill being daubed with the words Continuity IRA. The hard line republican group says it`s carrying out its own investigation and anybody found using its name without approval will face military action.
