Connacht And Ulster Name Teams For Weekend Games

Guinness Pro 12The Connacht and Ulster teams have been named ahead of tomorrow’s matches in the Guinness Pro12. In the absence of the injured Robbie Henshaw, Tiernan O’Halloran has moved to full-back for league leaders Connacht as they prepare to visit the Arms Park to face the Cardiff Blues. Scrum-half Ian Porter will make his first start of the season while Quinn Roux returns from injury to start in the second row and there’s an all-new front-row trio of Ronan Loughney, Dave Heffernan and Rodney Ah You. Connacht captain John Muldoon will also become the first player to pass the 200-cap mark in the Pro12 when he leads his side out. ======== Meanwhile, Ruan Pienaar and Paddy Jackson will continue at half-back for Ulster’s match-up against Edinburgh at Kingspan Ravenhill tomorrow. Rob Herring replace Rory Best as both hooker and captain tomorrow, while tighthead prop Ricky Lutton, who will make his first start of the season.
