It’s expected that the Compulsory Purchase Order for the N69 Listowel Bypass will be published next month.
That’s according to Kerry County Council, which has submitted an application to An Bord Pleanala for a pre-application consultation on the €40 million project.
In recent weeks, Transport Infrastructure Ireland gave the council approval to proceed with the publication of the Environmental Impact Statement and Compulsory Purchase Order.
Kerry County Council plans to meet An Bord Pleanala for a pre-application consultation on the N69 Listowel Bypass – it’s applied for a meeting and hopes to have one in May.
After that, the Compulsory Purchase Order and Environmental Impact Statement will be published.
The affected landowners will be served with the statutory CPO notices.
The CPO and EIS documents will be made available for members of the public to view at the council’s offices and on their website.
At that point, details on how to make a submission will be made available.
An Bord Pleanala will consider submissions and may decide to hold an oral hearing, which the council expects would be held by the end of the year.
