Complaints of Publican’s Non-compliance with Smoking Ban

The Southern Health Board is refusing to comment on whether or not they have launched an investigation into a publican in the county for failure to implement the smoking ban.According to John O`Sullivan chairman of the Kerry Vintners association there has been complaints made by people to the board regarding premises in the county where smoking the ban is not being fully implemented.John O`Sullivan says all publicans are compliant however complaints have still been made.It`s understood licenced premises will be given at least two warnings if its suspected people are smoking in the pub.
