Community rally around family of child seriously injured following fall from window in Castleisland

The community is rallying around the family of a young boy who remains in critical condition following a fall from a window in Castleisland.

The five-year-old boy is believed to have fallen from a window at Hogan’s Place at around 4 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon.

He suffered serious injuries and was brought to University Hospital Kerry, before being transferred to Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin.

The incident has been described as a tragic accident by An Garda Síochana.
