Colm Galvin To Return To Clare Hurling Panel

It’s been confirmed that Colm Galvin is to return to the Clare senior hurling panel. The Clonlara man had been representing the Tipperary club in Boston for the past two months. An All Ireland and All Star-winner in 2013, Galvin is set to be included in Davy Fitzgerald’s panel for the July 4th qualifier with Offaly. The round 1 hurling qualifier meeting of Limerick and Westmeath has been set Sunday, July 5th. Cusack Park in Mullingar hosts the game which will have a 2pm throw-in time. Tomorrow’s scheduled Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling semi-final meeting of Tipperary and Clare has been put back 24 hours following the passing of Tipp legend, Jimmy Doyle. Semple Stadium remains the venue, with throw-in on Thursday evening at 7.30. 2 matches are down for decision this evening in the Rhyno Quality Feeds North Kerry Senior Hurling Championship, both at 7.30.
