The Dingle coastguard was called into action this morning after a man fell on the rocks at Beenbawn on the Dingle Peninsula.
The coastguard received the call at around quarter to eleven this morning.
The man, who is in his 70s, was extracted from the rocks by the coastguard.

He was then treated at the scene by paramedics for suspected head injuries.
