A Kerry County Councillor has invited the Agriculture Minister to visit south Kerry to meet those affected by a TB outbreak in the area.
Fianna Fail Cllr Michael Cahill is calling for all farmers, who he says have suffered personally, emotionally and financially because of the outbreak to be adequately compensated.
Cllr Cahill is urging the Minister and his Department to come to the assistance of the affected farmers.
The outbreak has been described as the worst in living memory with over 75 cattle herds testing positive for TB last year.
Currently, fewer than 10% of herds are restricted.
