No action will be taken against Cllr Sheila Casey after her controversial decision to make a pact with Fianna Fail on Killarney Town Council. Cllr Casey`s decision last June was objected to by a number of FG members and several wrote to Party Headquarters over the summer months. Last night The General Secretary of Fine Gael Tom Curran visited Killarney and met with Cllr Casey as well as branch members. Following the meeting it was agreed to close the matter but in future to have ongoing consultation between elected Cllrs and party members.
