Claim that Government doesn’t value importance of pubs to tourism

VFI Vintners Federation of Ireland   The  chairman of the group representing Kerry publicans says the Government doesn’t appreciate how important the role of the pub is to tourism. Ger Counihan says the Irish pub is a major draw for international visitors. The chairman of the Kerry branch of the Vintners’ Federation says Ireland has to remain competitive as a tourist destination.
