Cian O’Neill Set To Take Over Kildare

Kerry trainer Cian O’Neill is set to become the new manager of the Kildare Senior football team. O’Neill, of the Moorefield club in Kildare, is to have his name put forward for ratification on a 3 year term at a County Board meeting on Tuesday. It was revealed the night after the All-Ireland Final defeat to Dublin that Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice would be staying on for another year. However, the future of his management team of O’Neill, Diarmuid Murphy and Mikey Sheehy has been the subject of speculation ever since.
