Chinese TV crew coming to South Kerry to film Kerry Dark-Sky Reserve

Kerry Dark Skies Reserve A film crew from China is to visit South Kerry in the coming week to record footage of the 700km International Kerry Dark-Sky Reserve. It follows Kerry recently becoming the first location in the northern hemisphere to achieve accreditation from the Arizona-based International Dark-Sky Association. South Kerry is now recognised as one of the best places on earth to observe the Milky Way. The crew will film for two days and the footage will be broadcast on Chinese TV news networks including CNN China. Julia Ormonde from the South Kerry Astronomy Group hopes the filming will encourage Chinese tourists to visit South Kerry: [audio_player src=””]
