Celtic Suspend Anthony Stokes

CelticCeltic have suspended Ireland striker Anthony Stokes for two weeks. Before the Hoops 3-1 win at Inverness last weekend Stokes tweeted that he didn’t care about wages if he wasn’t playing before later apologising and adding he hoped fans understood his frustration in the heat of the moment. The 27 year old is out of contract at the end of this season and has started just one game so far this season. It’s widely reported that QPR are in talks with Burton manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink about becoming their new boss. The former Chelsea and Leeds striker led his side to promotion from League Two last season – and at the moment, they’re top of League One. Neil Warnock is currently in charge of QPR on a temporary basis to help out the club he used to manage full-time.
