Castleisland accident victim is named

The man who died when the bus he was driving crashed into the wall of a shop in Castleisland this morning has been named. He was 62 year old John O’Callaghan, from Ballymacquin East in Abbeydorney. It happened when the 50-seater bus crashed into the wall of J.K. O’Connor’s shop at around 3.30am.There were no passengers on board, but two people who were in the vicinity of the accident were taken to Kerry General Hospital. Cormac O’Mahony is the owner of the premises and he says the accident caused considerable damage to the drapery shop.
