Campaigner for young drivers describes abuse he received in Killarney for driving modified car

An advocate for young motorists, who’s experienced abuse because he drives a modified car, is asking insurance companies and the public in general,  to judge people on how they drive not what they drive.

Kian Griffin of Ireland Underground says he sold his 2001 car even though it was in fine working condition because of insurance costs.

He bought a new car that was the exact same model, make and engine size but cost 200 euro less in insurance because it was seven years younger.
