There are calls for a tourism officer to be appointed for the Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District.

Cllr Fitzgerald says in particular Dingle and the Dingle Peninsula needs its own full-time person.
Kerry County Council says facilities in the Carnegie building in Castleisland have been provided for a tourist information service which is run by local volunteers.
The council added that Failte Ireland have responsibility for managing tourist offices throughout the county.
Area manager with KCC John Breen, says there will be a dedicated Municipal District Officer for the area and the focus of tourism will be among their roles.
